How we review providers

We want you to know exactly what a profile on SellerHelpDesk tells you, and what it does not.

Every published profile is reviewed

Before a profile goes live, a member of our team reviews it against our listing policy. We look for a clear description of the services offered, consistency between the profile and the material the provider shared with us, and anything that breaks our rules, such as promising guaranteed results or offering prohibited services. Profiles that pass show a Profile reviewed check with the date of the review. Reviews expire after 12 months unless we renew them.

What a review does not mean

  • We do not verify every claim. Details we have not checked are labelled provider-stated.
  • A review is not a guarantee of the quality of anyone’s work or of any result.
  • SellerHelpDesk is not a party to any agreement you make with a provider, and does not hold or handle payments.

Additional checks

Some providers have passed further checks. A profile lists each one by name with the date it was completed. Checks expire after 12 months unless we renew them, and we remove a check if we learn the evidence was wrong. We never show a check that has not been completed, and we do not combine checks into a score.

Interviewed

A member of our team held a structured interview using the service's question set.

It does not mean: a guarantee of the quality of their work or of any result.

References confirmed

At least two past clients confirmed that they worked with this provider.

It does not mean: a measure of results achieved for those clients.

Business verified

We checked the business registration or that the provider controls their website domain.

It does not mean: an endorsement of the business.

Portfolio sample checked

We saw supporting evidence for a named case study on the profile.

It does not mean: every case study on the profile was checked.

Some services are restricted because mistakes can seriously harm a seller’s account. A profile offering a restricted service can only go live after the provider has passed all of these checks: “Interviewed”, “References confirmed”, and “Business verified”.

Reports, decisions, and appeals

Anyone can report a profile using the link on it. A member of our team looks at every report. If we remove a profile from listings, suspend it, or warn a provider, we tell them what we found and why. They can appeal within 30 days, and a different member of our team decides the appeal. If you left an email when reporting, we tell you when we have finished, without sharing details about the provider.

Protect your account

Never share your Seller Central password or two-step verification codes with anyone. Give providers their own user access with only the permissions they need, and remove it when the work ends.
